Class Descriptions
Prenatal Yoga - For all moms-to-be, this yoga practice is sure to help you keep toned and flexible during your pregnancy and regular practice may assist in alleviating some of the pregnancy associated discomforts (check with your doctor before participating)
Beginners'/Gentle Flow Yoga - A class for those new to yoga, still learning, or who just want a gentler pace. Learn 4 of the 8 limbs of yoga: a variety of asanas (poses), different breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation, and some chanting. Learn how to help yourself be more in tune with "the moment" and create more union between your body, mind, and spirit!
Hatha Flow Yoga (includes "stressbusters") - For those with a bit of previous yoga experience or who have completed aimyoga's beginner level, this class is designed to link the breath to the asanas and link series of asanas together into a more flowing sequence
Afternoon Flow "Plus" - For those with some previous yoga experience. A flow class with a few more challenging postures and/or a few more challenging vinyasas. You'll still feel awesome after class, but you will also challenge yourself to build your "yoga endurance and muscles" a bit more.
Ashtanga Based Hatha Yoga - A more physical yoga designed to elevate your heart rate & make you sweat! Learn ways to make asanas more challenging. More for the student with previous yoga experience such as flow/vinyasa.
